I’ve recently taken an interest in pour painting, in which paint is poured onto a canvas rather than applied using brushes. There’s a lot of different techniques, including mixing the paint with various media, strategic pour technique, and manipulation of the paint once it’s on the canvas (tilting the canvas, blowing with a straw, using toothpicks, etc.) I’m far from being an expert on the subject and have only read a few tips online. Mostly I’ve been screwing around with it aimlessly.
